Cape Fear Surf Fest: Congrats To Aussie Team

This past weekend, the UNCW surf club held the Cape Fear Surf Fest on north Carolina Beach. They had several divisions including Pro Shortboard, Pro Longboard, Open Team, and Surf Shop team challenge. We are proud to announce that the Aussie Island team placed 3rd in the surf shop challenge! The team was Tyler Faulkner, Darsha Pigford, Elijah Gloss, and Daniel Sacchi. We also had some Aussie team riders make a team and ride in the open team division where they got 2nd! That team consisted of Kat Kneff, Peter Gloss, Jesse Heter, and Mason Yohe.

Tyler Faulkner out did himself again by also placing 1st in the Pro division and taking home some cash! Kat Neff also placed 3rd in her shortboard division.

We are proud of all you guys! Make sure to support the UNCW Surf Club, they did a great job at putting this event on!
